Student Interest Groups
For students at UC San Diego School of Medicine, learning takes place in a variety of ways and environments. Our vast array of Student Interest Groups offer students opportunities to meet formally and informally with one another through common interests, and goals while creating balance in their lives. We support a variety of groups, clubs and acitvities to support the whole student. All groups groups, clubs and activities are open to all students.
Affinity Groups
Affinity Groups provide a community for like-minded students to gather and advocate for equity, diversity and inclusion for all students.
Student Equity & Belonging
A sense of belonging not only contributes to a students' personal well-being, but also creates enhanced engagement and community among the School of Medicine.
Career & Specialty Groups
Career and Specialty Groups provide opportunities for further exploration in some of the specialty and subspecialties that students can pursue during residency.
Community & Service
Community and Service Groups provide space for students with similar interests to gather, learn from one another and pursue community service opportunities.

The Human Condition
The Human Condition is an annual humanities magazine published by the School of Medicine students that encourages creative endeavors that encompass the experiences, emotions and challenges that make us all who we are.
