Student Lounge

"I like to study at the student lounge in the Medical Education and Telemedicine (MET) building. I like to make a cup of tea in the kitchen and play some ping pong or pool when taking a break. It’s also relatively empty and quiet outside of regular class hours."

Outdoor

"Anywhere outside! Sometimes outside Club Med or the outdoor tables at grad housing."

The Beach

"I have recently invested in a beach studying setup. I have an umbrella for shade, a chair and a lap tray so that I can memorize the side effects of my favorite medications while soaking up some sun. Best part? UC San Diego WiFi reaches the beach that is adjacent to the Scripps Pier and you can catch a bus there from campus right after class to minimize parking troubles."

M.O.M.'s Cafe

Located at Muir College, M.O.M.'s Cafe features fair-trade, organic coffee, premium teas and fresh local pastries (Bread & Cie). One student says, it's "the coziest coffee shop on campus, with delicious drinks!"
