Physician-Scientist Colloquium
The Physician-Scientist Colloquium is a bi-monthly gathering where UC San Diego School of Medicine Physician-Scientist Faculty, residents, and trainees mingle for intellectual and social interactions, while staying abreast of recent exciting advances in biomedical research. This event is unique in that the Career Perspectives Speaker is encouraged to highlight how they entered the physician-scientist career path while mentioning seminal scientific moments in their careers and providing advice ("experienced, wise counsel") to physician-scientists at all stages of their careers.
These colloquia also offer a unique venue for interactions amongst all physician-scientists at UC San Diego — from junior faculty members who are establishing their labs to distinguished professors who openly share stories from their successful scientific careers. We very much welcome your participation and hope you can take time from your busy schedules to attend this bi-monthly series.
