Dr. Titania Juang is an Assistant Professor, Assistant Vice-Chair (AVC) of Diversity & Inclusion, and Associate Director for Quality Assurance. She is also the Associate Director of the Medical Physics Residency Program.
A dedicated clinical medical physicist, Dr. Juang is a member of the La Jolla Medical Physics Team and is experienced in multiple advanced radiotherapy techniques, including stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), respiratory gating, and stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT). As Associate Director of the Medical Physics Residency, she is involved in resident education and training, including resident didactics, mentorship, and examinations.
Dr. Juang serves on multiple department committees, including the RMAS Council, an advisory group to the Chair comprised of all Vice-Chairs and other leaders. In her AVC role, she serves on several committees to ensure diversity and inclusion, including committees on faculty merit & promotions and committee oversight, and she also serves as a liaison with the University on all matters of diversity and inclusion. Nationally, she is a member of multiple American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) Committees, such as the AAPM Public Education Committee and the Medical Physics 3.0 Initiative.
