UC San Diego Radiation Medicine Research Mission

We are dedicated to the development and scientific testing of novel methods and treatments to improve the care of cancer patients. Clinician-scientists within our Department have expertise in a variety of methods, ranging from bench laboratory sciences, to translational sciences, to prospective clinical trials, population studies, and meta-analyses. Our researchers are also leaders in the development and implementation of cutting-edge automated treatment planning approaches and transforming the roles of the clinical team.
