CASEY BOJECHKO, PHD

Dr. Casey Bojechko is an Assistant Professor and member of the La Jolla Medical Physics Team. He is the Technology Section Chief of the Hematologic service which involves advancing our total body irradiation techniques. Dr. Bojechko is a lecturer, involved in the UCSD physics and physician residencies. He is a research-focused physicist and is a member of the Center for Precision Radiation Medicine.

Dr. Bojechko's research interests include incorporating electronic portal imaging devices (EPID) for patient quality assurance and applications in adaptive radiation therapy treatments. This approach has the potential to monitor the patient during the course of treatment and allows for rapid adaptive treatments that are safe and of high quality. He serves on multiple Department Committees including the Research Committee and the New Technologies Committee.
