Improving Patient Care Through Simulation Training
The use of simulation technologies in the medical curriculum has dramatically grown and taken on an ever more important role. The old mantra of "see one, do one, teach one" has been upgraded using simulation to allow trainees and providers to practice procedures, crisis management and teamwork via simulation. To support and expand this trend, the UCSD Division of Medical Education has opened the Center for the Future of Patient Care
which is composed of 3 parts:
Center for the Future of Surgery (CFS);
Professional Development Center (PDC); and
