The Institute for Network Medicine (iNetMed) accepts donations and bequests to support its mission. You can play a key role in this mission, whether it is stopping the next pandemic before it starts, or finding a cure for diseases that take away our loved ones, or for building smarter machines that can enhance the quality and length of our lives – thereby shaping our collective futures. Any donation from you, big or small, will enable us to maintain our innovative edge as one of the world’s foremost public research universities, bringing together the best and the brightest through partnerships with academic and industrial institutions throughout the Biotech Mesa. Your donation directly supports the following iNetMed’s programs:
· Research studies, including clinical research in our laboratories
· Purchase of equipment and supplies for laboratories
· Support of research workshops and conferences
· Producing informational materials of our discoveries for the general public and health professionals
· Funding of research projects
Please tell us in your letter or online donation if you would like your donation to be used specifically for a cause, either on a specific research topic and/or educational activity.
How are donations acknowledged?
Your donation at any amount makes an impact and will play a key role in developing innovative lifesaving solutions. If you wish to donate in memory or in honor of someone, please include the name of the person in the accompanying letter. If you wish to have an acknowledgment sent to a third party (such as a family member of the memorialized or honored), please provide all the necessary information including the mailing address.
Are gifts deductible?
Gifts made to UC San Diego’s iNetMed are tax deductible as charitable contributions under section 170(c) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (Internal Revenue Code). Potential donors should, however, consult with their tax advisors. For tax filing, the UCSD tax exempt number is 95-2872494.
