Dr. Bojechko received a Seed Grant from Varian Medical Systems to focus on the development and implementation of electronic portal imaging for daily monitoring of plan quality and also as a means of detecting changes in the tumor and/or patient during the course of treatment. This work has important implications for real-time quality assurance and for the clinical implementation of adaptive radiotherapy treatments.
