Dr. Andrew Connor Puett is a current PGY-2 resident. Connor grew up in coastal North Carolina and completed his MD-PhD training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then moved from coast to coast for his specialty training in Radiation Oncology at UC San Diego. He is pursuing a career in this field due to his combined interests in treating cancer and working with image-guided technologies. Connor was attracted to UCSD by the welcoming faculty and staff, the strong collaborative imaging research, and, of course, the amazing weather and beaches. He plans to continue exploring the application of new imaging technologies in his future career in Radiation Oncology.
Outside of work, Connor spends his time exploring parks and beaches with his family. He stays active through running and playing tennis in the sunny San Diego weather.
