OFA analyzes faculty data to develop evidence-based effective programming and initiatives to enhance success, recruitment, and retention of an engaged diverse and inclusive faculty.

Office Highlights

Health Sciences Office of Faculty Affairs new publication Wingard et. al.  "Faculty Equity, Diversity, Culture and Climate Change in Academic Medicine: A Longitudinal Study" in J. Natl. Med Assoc. Jun 2018. The authors report data-driven policy and programmatic interventions that were associated with increased faculty diversity, equity, respectful behavior and improved faculty climate at UC San Diego Health Sciences.
