National Professional Development Programs

The Office of Faculty Affairs (OFA) directs the National Center of Leadership in Academic Medicine (NCLAM) for junior faculty. This is a seven month professional development program with a mentoring component. Please see NCLAM link for more information.

The UC San Diego Rady School of Management and other programs offer a variety of leadership development activities for all levels of faculty. OFA also supports participation in other national programs including the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) leadership development seminars.
