Supporting Long-Term Career Success for Cardiovascular Sciences Researchers
UC San Diego Future Faculty of Cardiovascular Sciences (FOCUS) is a member of the
NIH Programs to Increase Diversity among Individuals Engaged in Health-Related Research (PRIDE) initiative, committed to research education and mentoring of
early-career faculty underrepresented in the biomedical sciences. The program is sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) and is a one year commitment with multiple travel requirements for face-to-face training and meetings.
