Dr. Holmes is currently Chief Operating Officer at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego. Dr. Holmes and his colleagues have developed a clinical pathway to maximize the best surgical outcomes for vesicoureteral reflux and presented lectures to community primary care physicians about their approach. Their hope is to prevent end-stage renal disease as a result of vesicoureteral reflux.
Dr. Holmes serves on the Board of Directors of the Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons and is heavily involved with several other major pediatric urology organizations. At Rady Children’s Hospital he is on the Quality Improvement Committee, the Medical Staff Executive Committee, Department of Surgery Executive Committee, and the Board of Directors of Children’s Specialists.
