Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Program

UC San Diego offers an ACGME accredited one year Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care leading to American Board of Surgery Certification.

If desired, second year options include the American Association of Surgery for Trauma certified Acute Care Surgery (ACS) Fellowship, Burn Surgery Fellowship, or custom options such as Research + Clinical or MPH.

Applicant qualifications include:

  1. Completion of approved general surgery residency
  2. California license (or eligibility)
  3. Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Surgery
  4. Established ability as a teacher of medical students and residents
