Dr. Gosman has advanced training in craniofacial and pediatric plastic surgery as well as international plastic surgery. Her research focus is in plastic surgery outcomes, cleft lip and palate, pediatric plastic surgery, telemedicine, and international health.  She has expertise in providing healthcare and education to underserved communities around the world and has successfully utilized telemedicine technology to overcome logistical barriers to international healthcare and education.  She has written journal articles and book chapters on repair of cleft palate, repair of cleft lip, ear reconstruction, minimally invasive plastic surgery, breast surgery, and telemedicine. Through telemedicine, Dr. Gosman is able to help bring expert medical care to patients whose disorders or injuries require services that may not be available locally
