Digestive Diseases Family Day at the CFS

The Center for the Future of Surgery hosted the Faculty and Staff of the Digestive Diseases Team, including the Divisions of Minimally Invasive Surgery and Colon & Rectal Surgery, as well as their families in May 2023. Children of all ages participated in activities within a surgical education environment that gave them a glimpse of what their parents do on a daily basis working in the medical field. They experienced laparoscopic instruments and surgical technology, learned about the Digestive System, identified objects under the microscopes, and most importantly, bonded with their families and new friends!
