This is a postdoctoral research fellowship in neuroimaging and signal processing in a clinical Neuroimmunology lab at UC San Diego. A successful applicant will be working to create image processing pipelines, collect and analyze neuroimaging, multi-sensor and eye-tracking data, as well as develop novel imaging techniques. Applicants will also have the opportunity to work on multiple clinical and observational projects using these advanced imaging techniques, which include studies on neuroimmunological diseases such as multiple sclerosis, NMOSD and autoimmune encephalitis in both adult and pediatric populations.

| Postdoctoral Research Fellow - Neuroimaging and Signal Processing in Clinical Neuroimmunology

Key Qualifications:
A highly motivated researcher with a desire to begin an independent career related to or involving advanced neuroimaging techniques and signal processing.
· A Ph.D. degree in Neurosciences or Biomedical Engineering or a related field; however, strong candidates with other scientific backgrounds will also be considered · A strong background in neuroimaging analysis and/or signal processing · Strong programming skills for data analysis, especially in R and/or Python · Strong written/oral English communication skills
Other Desired Skills · Experience working with MS patients or a background in a similar clinical environment · Experience with neuroimaging software · Knowledge of neuroscience, neurophysiology and neuropathology in brain disease · An interest in contributing to the growth and development of the lab
