Mell Lab

Dr. Mell’s research focuses on development and testing of personalized radiation therapy using applied mathematics. Our dry lab primarily implements machine learning and in silico radiomics techniques using high-dimensional imaging, outcomes, and clinical data sets, with some crossover into tissue microarray, virology, and translational pre-clinical animal models. Members of our lab apply skills in statistical programming in MATLAB, R, Python, and SAS, and collaborate with investigators in radiochemistry, virology, immunology, pathology, and clinical research.
