Dr. Sandra Meyers is an Assistant Professor and a member of the La Jolla Medical Physics Team. She is also the Associate Director for Brachytherapy Automation in the Center for Quality, Innovation, Value and Efficiency in Radiotherapy (QUIVER).

She is a research-focused physicist with an interest in applying Knowledge-Based Planning (KBP) techniques to patients undergoing intracavitary and interstitial brachytherapy. She is a recipient of a recent NCI K-08 Award focused on KBP in cervical cancer patients undergoing brachytherapy.

Dr. Meyers is a member of multiple Department Committees including the Women in Health Sciences Planning Committee and the RMAS Council, an advisory board to the Chair consisting of Vice-Chairs, Division Directors and elected junior faculty.
