Born and raised in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Dragojević moved to California to study chemistry at University of California, Berkeley, where she also received her PhD in Physical Chemistry. Following her PhD, she spent a year at the 88-Inch Cyclotron at Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, working on a postdoctoral research project in Nuclear Physics. Dr. Dragojević completed her residency in Medical Physics at UC San Diego in 2012. She was also awarded a fellowship in Medical Physics at UC San Diego. She is currently the lead physicist at the UCSD South Bay Treatment Facility in Eastlake.
Dr. Dragojević oversees special procedures in the South Bay clinic, including IGRT, SRS, SBRT, and electronic brachytherapy of skin lesions. Her clinical projects involve quality assurance, treatment planning, development of operating procedures for improving clinical flow and efficiency, as well as overseeing and coordinating both the on-site and remote dosimetry teams.
