Dr. Henry Nasrallah Delivers the First Annual Henry and Amelia Nasrallah Endowed Lecture

Dr. Henry Nasrallah, Professor and Chairman, Sydney W. Souers Endowed Chair, visits with colleagues on occasion of the Department's 50th anniversary celebration to deliver the first endowed Henry and Amelia Nasrallah Annual Endowed Lecture in Psychiatry and Neuroscience. Dr Nasrallah and his wife endowed this annual lectureship in recognition of the formative role the Department played in Dr Nasrallah’s early career as a young academic at UCSD. Dr Nasrallah then became Chief of Psychiatry at the Iowa City VA, Chair of Psychiatry at the Ohio Stare University, and currently Chair of Psychiatry at St Louis University. Dr Nasrallah is recognized for his contributions to research on schizophrenia and founded the Schizophrenia Bulletin. Seated are UCSD Professors David Braff, Kristin Cadenhead, Dr Nasrallah in center, and Professors Igor Grant and Sid Zisook. The Department is very grateful for the generosity of the Nasrallahs.
