Psychiatry Interest Groups
Psychoneuroimmunology (PNI) Interest Group:
Our goal is to bring together researchers in Psychiatry and other departments who have an interest in the immune system and how it interacts with brain and behavior in the context of mental health. Through regular meetings and electronic communication, we will keep current on methods and findings in this area, share best practices, and hopefully stimulate novel collaborations. We will meet monthly for one hour sessions that will vary in format. Possible formats include round table discussions, guest speakers, presentation of methods or controversies, early stage review of grant ideas, and journal clubs. Meetings will be held on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 9:45am, directly following the Psychiatry Department Grand Rounds. Check the calendar for meeting location.
