Dr. Dilip Jeste has been invited by the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ACNP) to give its annual Distinguished Lecture at the annual conference in Phoenix on December 7, 2020, on the topic of “Neuroscience of Wisdom in the Era of the New Pandemics.” We congratulate him on this prestigious invitation.

Alana Iglewicz’s article on Treatment of Grief was noted as one of the top 10% downloaded papers of the year and “one of the top downloaded in recent publication history!”. Complicated grief therapy for clinicians: An evidence‐based protocol for mental health practice, It also was referenced in the hot off the press just approved APA resource docs.

Al Cesarz and Becky SturnerCongratulations to PG2 Residents Al Cesarz and Becky Sturner on the acceptance of their submission "El No Es Mi Padre": A Discussion of the Practical and Ethical Dilemmas in the Case of a Psychotic Immigrant Teen, as a Clinical Case Conference presentation at AACAP's 67th Annual Meeting.

Dr. Morrison Steel has been recognized by third year medical students to receive the UC San Diego SOM Humanism in Medicine Resident Award in Psychiatry. With this award, he is invited to join UC San Diego School of Medicine’s Chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS) and be recognized at the Student Clinicians Ceremony.
