Bill Greenwald is currently a graduate student in the Bioinformatics and Systems Biology PhD program at UC San Diego. Bill received his B.S in Computational and Systems Biology with and emphasis in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology from UC Los Angeles. Throughout his undergraduate degree, Bill worked in Dr. Matteo Pellegrini's lab studying metabolic models of algae, and in Dr. Joseph DiStefano III's lab creating mathematical kinetic models of p53. In the summer leading up his senior year and prior to his first year of graduate school, Bill worked at the Canary Center for Early Cancer Detection at Stanford under Dr. Sharon Hori to create the data for, and create pharmacokinetic models of chemotherapy drugs. He joined Dr. Kelly Frazer's lab in Fall of 2016.
