Patient Care

The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego  cares for children with endocrine disorders and diabetes mellitus. The division participates in the in several multidisciplinary clinics including the Differences of Sex Development Clinic , Turner Syndrome Clinic , Renal Transplant Clinic , Prader-Willi Clinic , Neuro-Oncology Clinic , and the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic . The division has also established the Center for Gender Affirming Care  for transgender children and adolescents. 

Outpatient endocrinology clinics are located at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego (RCHSD) and in satellite offices in Oceanside , Encinitas , Escondido  and Murrieta .Over the past year, there were more than 16,000 endocrine/diabetes outpatient visits, and over 1,800 children with either type 1 or type 2 diabetes mellitus were routinely seen by the diabetes service. The Diabetes Center at RCHSD received the American Diabetes Association Recognition Award for meeting the standards of education in diabetes self-management.

Inpatient care is located at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego .
