NEWS FLASH

New ECOTIME Timekeeping System

Scheduled to Go Live for April Time Away Reporting

(FIRST DUE DATE: MAY 10th)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

         ECOTIME is replacing MyTime timekeeping system:

o   No changes to reporting or deadline structure

o   Link to ECOTIME will be available on the Blink homepage

o   Login using your Active Directory credentials

o   Timesheets will continue to be due on the 10th of each month, following the reporting month (i.e. March timesheet due on April 10th)

 

         Continue to report time away for:

o   Vacation

o   Jury Duty

o   Sick (MSPs only)

o   Academic time no longer required to be reported NEW

o   CME - use Prof Dev & Education pay code in ECOTIME NEW

o   Full-time employees continue to report full days off in 8-hour increments

o   Part-time employees continue to report exact hours missed

 

         Division Chiefs and Clinical Directors may delegate alternate approver authority to a UCSD employee

 

         Monthly Reports

o   Timekeeping reports will continue to be sent to the MPF monthly

o   CME reports will be sent monthly to Division Chiefs and Clinical Directors

 

         ECOTIME is currently used by staff and students in Health Sciences

o   An enhanced version will be available by April 1 and adopted by all employees across Health Sciences

 

         ECOTIME Training
