The Neonatal Clinical Research Team is comprised of top neonatal physicians, respiratory therapists, nurses, and research coordinators. The team's primary research sites include level II, III, and IV Neonatal Intensive Care Units within San Diego County, as well as collaborations with many leading healthcare institutions and clinics.
The scope of our neonatal research and development includes a range of topics including human milk nutrition, point-of-care ultrasound, lung development, microbiome analysis, and exploratory metabolite and genomic analysis. Our core clinical research team consists of a research manager, research coordinators, and per diem nurses and respiratory therapists.

clinical research to generate knowledge that will improve the health
outcome and quality of life of sick and premature newborns.
