Kirsten Limmer, MD, PhD

Kirsten Limmer MD PhD is a board certified pediatrician and newborn hospitalist.  Dr Limmer feels that it is an honor and privilege to play an integral role in the postpartum period: a special and emotionally charged time in a family's life.  She especially enjoys helping parents transition into their new roles and feels that it is a unique responsibility to often be the very first physician to examine a baby.  Dr Limmer also enjoys teaching new interns and medical students the practical skills and evidence-based medicine of newborn pediatrics. 

Dr Limmer completed her residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital and earned a medical degree and PhD in Molecular Biology from UCSD.
