Since its founding in 1960, UC San Diego’s Health Sciences has been built on Nobel Prize winning medical advances, especially translational research and personalized medicine. In the Department of Pediatrics, the General Academic Pediatrics and Adolescent Division is responsible for the primary health care of all children and teens seen at the UCSD Pediatric Clinic.
Situated in the Cambridge Physicians Medical Center which is two block from Rady Children’s Hospital, San Diego, the General Pediatric Clinic offers the latest facilities to its patients and their families. With over 18,000 visits from children residing throughout San Diego and Imperial Counties, the Division strives to provide to all patients with a medical home that is accessible, comprehensive, culturally inclusive, and compassionate.
