Clinical, Research, Teaching Interests
Dr. Anders has worked with medical students and residents in underserved multicultural areas of San Diego and Tijuana and served as a pediatric consultant to the East County American Indian clinics for the past 30 years. Dr Anders has been involved in Reach out and Read (ROR) since its inception and has run a ROR program at a busy community clinic. She was instrumental in setting up the San Diego ROR coalition and has taken ROR abroad places such as Baja California and Haiti. She continues to teach residents on the Community Pediatrics rotation in the Division of Child Development and Community Health.
