Stephen Dalby, M.D. (4th Year Interventional Cardiology Fellow): Stephen earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas followed by medical school at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He stayed in Little Rock at Arkansas Children’s Hospital for both his pediatric residency training and his fellowship in pediatric cardiology. His wife is also from Little Rock, and they have three beautiful daughters. Stephen is incredibly excited to have the opportunity to come to San Diego and be a part of the cardiology and cath lab teams!
Bruke Tedla, M.D.
(3nd-Year Categorical Fellow): Bruke is a proud Southern Californian native, who went to undergrad at Pomona College (Chirp Chirp), and medical school at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. He then completed his general pediatric residency at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, before coming to UC San Diego/Rady Children's Hospital for fellowship in pediatric cardiology. His interests include advanced cardiac imaging. When not in the hospital, he likes to hike, cook, and travel.
Andres Moreno, M.D.
(3rd-Year Categorical Fellow): Andres was born in Bogota, Colombia, where he completed medical school and pediatric residency at the Universidad Militar Nueva Granada. Due to his interest in research and new technologies in congenital heart disease, Andres moved to the United States and completed a second pediatric residency at the University of Connecticut before joining our program at UC San Diego/Rady Children's Hospital. His interests include advanced cardiac imaging and cardiac MRI. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, going to the beach, and playing piano and violin.
Elizabeth LaSalle, M.D. (2nd-Year Categorical Fellow): Elizabeth “Libby” is originally from Colorado and earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!). Libby continued at Georgetown University earning her Medical Degree. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Rainbow Babies prior to joining UCSD/Rady Children’s Hospital for her fellowship in pediatric cardiology. Libby’s hobbies/interests are hiking, camping, and cooking.
Heidi Ostler, M.D.
(2nd-Year Categorical Fellow): Heidi is originally from Utah and earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology at the University of Utah. She continued at the University of Utah earning her medical degree. Heidi completed her residency at the University of California San Diego prior to staying at Rady Children’s Hospital for her fellowship in pediatric cardiology.
Jihyeun "Polly" Park, M.D. (1st-Year Categorial Fellow): Polly did her undergraduate studies at Rice University in Houston, Texas, and went back to Korea to complete medical school at Konyang University College of Medicine in Daejeon. She then moved to Hawaii to complete her pediatric residency training at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu. Her current area of interest is in interventional cardiology, but she is excited to explore diverse areas within pediatric cardiology throughout her fellowship training.
Danielle Strah, M.D. (1st-Year Categorical Fellow): Danielle completed her undergraduate studies at University of Texas of the Permian Basin in Odessa, followed by medical school at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She then moved to Tucson to complete her pediatric residency training at the University of Arizona. She is excited to continue moving Westward and starting her fellowship training with us at UC San Diego. She enjoys reading, teaching fitness classes, playing with her dog and cat, and traveling with her husband.
