The Hospital Medicine Fellowship Program provides clinical and scholarly training with the goal of developing future hospitalists and academic leaders in the field. The clinical and research opportunities are unparalleled, and San Diego is an exciting city with an inviting year-round climate.
Clinical training occurs predominantly at Rady Children's Hospital San Diego. Outstanding possibilities for research training are available under the guidance of Pediatric Hospital Medicine faculty, as well as world-class collaborators at UCSD.
Our Hospital Medicine Fellowship Program is accepting applications. Candidates must be BC/BE in pediatrics by the beginning of the fellowship.
The fellowship begins the following July (specific date set by UCSD School of Medicine, typically July 2-8th to allow for moving days.) Applications are accepted Jun 1 - Sep 15. The UCSD-Rady Children's PHM Fellowship is part of the NRMP match. Applicants must register for NRMP and submit their rank list by early December each year. For exact dates, please access the NRMP website at
www.nrmp.org and review the upcoming deadlines for the "Pediatrics Specialties Fall Match."
NOTE: At this time, PHM fellowships are not able to participate in ERAS. Complete all application materials (available via hyperlinks on this page) and submit the required forms to email@example.com no later than September 15th.
