The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences is composed of several specialty divisions, many of which have been recognized nationally and internationally.

JPF02866 - Faculty Position in Obstetrics & Gynecology - Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences (https://medschool.ucsd.edu/som/obgyn/Pages/default.aspx) at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body and is seeking board certified physicians in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM), Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI), Gynecologic Oncology (GynOnc), Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS), or general Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN).

Candidates must have a MD or PhD in areas of Reproductive Medicine or MD/PhD. Candidates with an MD must be board eligible or board certified and be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.

The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded. As a member of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, the appointee should be aware that there are limitations on outside professional activities and clinical moonlighting is expressly prohibited.
