Parkinson and Other Movement Disorders Center's Neuropsychology Team


 

J. Vincent Filoteo
Professor of Psychiatry and Director of UCSD Neuropsychological Associates

Dr. Filoteo has over 18 years of experience working with patients with various movement disorders and dementias. He received his Ph.D. in clinical neuropsychology/psychology in 1994 from the SDSU/UCSD Joint Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology. His research and clinical work focuses on the cognitive and clinical neuropsychology of Parkinson's disease.


Dawn Schiehser, PhD
Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, Neuropsychologist

Dr. Schiehser has been with the UCSD Department of Psychiatry and Psychology Service at the VA Medical Center since 2004, where she has specialized in the neuropsychology of Parkinson’s disease and traumatic brain injury (TBI). Her current research and clinical interests focus on cognitive functioning, brain imaging, and cognitive rehabilitation of individuals with Parkinson’s disease, dementia, and TBI.
