The SMADRC serves as resource to professionals as well as the community. We offer education and outreach to community physicians through our CME conferences and invited presentations to physician grand rounds, as well as healthcare provider group team meetings and educational conferences. We offer a wide array of support services to the community and encourage physicians to leverage our no cost memory screening and quality of life programs for their patients with neurodegenerative diseases. Our two monthly lecture series are designed to provide ongoing education and research updates about a wide array of topics under the cognitive aging and neurodegenerative disease umbrella. Our mission encompasses the mandate to serve as a resource for researchers studying all aspects of cognitive aging and ADRD. We share biosamples, tissue, data, referrals, and other infrastructure support services to researchers. We offer a wide array of training programs and opportunities for trainees ranging from the undergraduate level to young investigator status; several faculty members have structured mentorship and training opportunities available. In addition to our training programs, we offer pilot project awards and other funding to support scholars through a competitive application process. We hope you will take advantage of the multitude of opportunities available to you through our center and sign up to receive our e-news with announcements and updates.
