cuRRents is the newsletter of the Shiley-Marcos Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center. It is now published twice a year and features updates in research projects underway, resources, and staff news that is being generated from our ADRC. Readers learn about newly enrolling studies, research advances, innovative programs, and ideas for healthy aging. cuRRents is edited by Christina Gigliotti Ph.D., and Guerry, Peavy, Ph.D. Graphic design produced by Tracy Dezenzo. All study participants receive a printed copy of cuRRents and electronic copies are available by clicking on the below links.

Gaceta EDAD is the Spanish language programs newsletter of the Shiley-Marcos Alzheimer's Disease Research Center. The entire issue is written in Spanish. Its debut issue was generated in 2019 and it will be produced annually. It is edited by Cecilia Salcedo-Borrego, BS and Paula Desplats, PhD. and features updates in research and outreach initiatives, resources, and center and staff news that is being generated from our ADRC and has relevance to the Latino community. Readers learn about newly enrolling studies, research advances, innovative programs, and ideas for healthy aging. All Spanish speaking study participants receive a printed copy of Gaceta EDAD and electronic copies are available by clicking on the below links.

Perspectives was a quarterly newsletter written for people with dementia that addresses the concerns, reflections, and coping skills of individuals with Alzheimer's or a related memory disorder. It provided up-to-date research, explores relevant topics, provides a forum for discussion, and builds bridges between people with memory loss around the world. Individuals with Alzheimer's or a related disorder contribute their perspectives to this newsletter in the form of articles, poetry, or letters. Perspectives was written and edited by Lisa Snyder, LCSW, and published by the University of California, San Diego, Shiley-Marcos Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center. Perspectives is not currently generating new issues due to Lisa's untimely passing. Back issues can be accessed by clicking the links below.
