Memory Screening Services

Offered throughout the year in English and Spanish, for older adults with memory concerns, at our SMADRC and various community-based locations. We offer a resource room with individualized consultation from staff members to answer questions and provide information about memory and aging, Alzheimer's and related dementias, community resources, and research participation. View memory screening dates and locations below.

What is Memory Screening?

  • Memory screenings are like other routine health check-ups.
  • Each memory screening takes approximately 20 minutes and while the result is not a diagnosis, it can suggest if someone should see a physician for a full evaluation.
  • No cost and no commitment to participate in research required
  • Individualized consultation with participants that includes information about normal aging and memory disorders as well as available resources in the community
  • Se Habla Español? Download Bilingual Flyer for all current locations
  • We do honor requests for providing memory screening services off-site for specialized communities, such as churches and senior centers, in Spanish. If you are interested in discussing this opportunity for your community, please contact Christina Gigliotti at
