Our research team at UC San Diego is conducting a study to understand how obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) affects the way that people living with HIV feel.

At least 18 years of age
Diagnosis of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)
What you may be asked to do during this study:
Two daytime assessments at our UCSD Sleep Research Laboratory in La Jolla (ACTRI building)
Questionnaires
Fasting blood draw
Lung function testNoninvasive test to measure endothelial function
You will be given a wrist-worn device to measure activity and light exposure, to be worn for 2 weeks at visit #1
Two overnight sleep studies at our UCSD Sleep Research Laboratory in La Jolla (ACTRI building)
Polysomnogram sleep study, with a modified continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) device used for overnight #2
Fasting blood draw
