Our research team is conducting a study to look at obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in people with HIV. We are seeking volunteers who have been diagnosed with OSA being treated with CPAP. We need people who are also HIV-positive treated with Anti-Retroviral Therapy (ART), and people who are HIV-negative.

Maximum compensation for completing entire study (24 hrs total, mostly spent sleeping):
$300.00
Qualifications:
Age above 40
Known diagnosis of Obstructive Sleep Apnea
Currently using CPAP treatment
If HIV positive, be taking Anti-Retroviral Therapy
What you may be asked to do during this study:
Two overnight sleep studies at our UCSD Hillcrest sleep laboratory
One evening (not overnight) MRI study of the head and upper airway while you rest, in Sorrento Valley
