Academic Profile

Dr. Bordin-Wosk received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She subsequently completed her Internal Medicine Residency at UC San Diego. 

Dr. Bordin-Wosk has an interest in quality improvement with a focus on enhancement and standardization of provider handoffs to improve patient safety and transitions of care. She was a Co-Site Director of the SHM I-PASS Mentored Implementation Program which led to the universal adoption of I-PASS handoffs at UCSD. Dr. Bordin-Wosk is the Director of Transitions of Care at USCD, and she continues to work on quality improvement projects which focus on ensuring safe transitions of care on a hospital-wide level. 

Dr. Bordin-Wosk is also the Co-President of the San Diego Chapter of SHM.
