Academic Profile

Dr. Choueiri completed his residency training at the University of Texas at Houston Medical Center. He joined the renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center as a post-doctoral fellow studying the bone metastasis of prostate cancer in Dr Sue-Hwa Lin's lab, then completed a fellowship in genitourinary medical oncology. Subsequently, he moved to San Diego where he pursued his training in Hematology Oncology. He has authored many book chapters and published peer reviewed articles. He is interested in entrepreneurship and serves as an advisor to medical companies in Southern California. His interests include traveling, calisthenics and martial arts.
