Dr. Meghan Sebasky received her medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, and went on to complete internal medicine residency at the University of Minnesota where she was selected as an internal medicine chief resident. She worked as an academic hospitalist at the University of Minnesota before joining the Division of Hospital Medicine at UCSD in 2011.
Dr. Sebasky's areas of interest include medical education at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, patient communication, the art of giving feedback, and peer rounding. She participates in clinical teaching and mentoring of both medical students and residents and is co-director of the core Medicine Clerkship for third year medical students as well as a core faculty member in the Internal Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Sebasky is an active member of the Society of Hospital Medicine and currently serves as co-president of the local San Diego Chapter.
