Dr. Lago-Hernandez received his MD degree from Harvard Medical School and completed his Internal Medicine residency training at UC San Diego. He subsequently joined the Division of Hospital Medicine at UC San Diego.
As a hospitalist, Dr. Lago-Hernandez, has an interest in quality improvement, disparity in access-to-care (particularly among underserved minorities), and Medical Education.
