The Divisions of Hematology-Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation at the University of California, San Diego, have a large research program that is engaged in a multidisciplinary approach to scientific inquiry. 

Our research programs excel in the pursuit of cutting-edge research in basic science, translational research, and clinical research, and are supported by the National Institutes of Health and foundation awards; in addition, several of our investigators have Program Project grants, multi-institutional awards.
