MISSION

At the NAFLD Research Center, our central mission is to improve the lives of those affected by non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and related fibrosis by developing innovative and effective therapies. In pursuit of this mission, we are dedicated to advancing our understanding of the underlying mechanisms of NAFLD, as well as the complex interactions between lifestyle, genetics, and the environment that contribute to its development.

We are also committed to developing non-invasive, patient-friendly methods for assessing treatment response and diagnosing NASH, a progressive form of NAFLD that can lead to serious complications if left untreated. By leveraging state-of-the-art technologies and collaborating with experts across multiple disciplines, we aim to provide the most accurate, efficient, and personalized care for our patients.

Above all, we are here to serve our patients and their families, and to give back to the community that supports us. Through our research, we hope to provide new insights into the causes, prevention, and treatment of NASH, and to contribute to the global effort to eliminate death and suffering from liver disease.
