The West Health - UCSD Geriatrics Quality Improvement Science Fellowship is a one-year fellowship training program designed for graduated geriatrics fellows to develop national leaders in quality improvement and implementation science. Generously funded by the West Health Institute, graduated fellows will be prepared to engage in older adult-centered quality improvement and lead high value care initiatives geared towards measures that matter most to older adults. Mission-driven clinicians with experience caring for older adults are especially encouraged to apply.
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in a geriatrics discipline (by start of this fellowship)
- Board-certified or board-eligible in a geriatrics-focused discipline (e.g., geriatric medicine, geriatric psychiatry)
- Active, unrestricted U.S. license to practice medicine
- U.S. citizenship
Other non-MD professions are encouraged to inquire about additional opportunities.
