Coronavirus Pandemic

The Center for Mindfulness, The Sanford Institute for Empathy and Compassion, and Compassion Institute

  Due to the current situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19) evolving rapidly across the United States, our Center, The Sanford Institute, and the Compassion Institute will work together to provide daily streams and recordings of mindfulness and compassion sessions to provide resources and online support to those affected.




To attend any of the sessions listed below, click on the session you want to access. This will bring you to the live online session. Visit this link to learn How to Use the Zoom Meeting Platform.

The UCSD Center for Mindfulness and Institute for Empathy & Compassion 
are conducting a brief research study to assess the effects of 
our meditation sessions during this difficult time.

  2. There will be a short survey administered before and after each session
  3. Please try to complete surveys 5 minutes before and within 30 minutes after each session
  • This study is completely voluntary and your personal information will be kept confidential
