Statement on George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery

We at the UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness are taking the side of compassion. Compassion means we are both AWARE of suffering & ACTIVELY committed to alleviating it. It means we can be both SOOTHING and FIERCE in our response. It means we HONOR and CELEBRATE our collective uniqueness rather than "other-ing" or hurting each other.

Please read the statement on George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery from the Chancellor Khosla and leadership across the university.
