Student Education
The Center for Integrative Medicine works with the UC San Diego School of Medicine to design and offer educational programs in integrative medicine for medical students, practicing clinicians and the community. By teaching and conducting educational programs that embody the values of integrity, collaboration and service, the CIM engenders a health-enhancing, transformative environment for modern medicine.

Clinical Rotations in Integrative Medicine
UC San Diego School of Medicine medical students have the opportunity to observe patient care and provider/patient interactions that include CAM options for therapy or treatments. Learning experiences may include consultations or treatments in integrative medicine, mind/body therapy, homeopathy, osteopathic manipulation, acupuncture/acupressure, and/or nutrition.
Public Seminars in Integrative Medicine
The Center provides educational programming for both medical practitioners as well as the general public. Seminars and conferences showcase the benefits of CAM approaches to good health and medical care.
